The ERHHG 2025 Conference will be held at the main conference hall on the campus of the University of Duhok (UOD), a prestigious public university in the vibrant city of Duhok, located approximately 150 km northwest of Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI). UOD, established in 1992 with just two colleges, has since grown significantly to meet the educational needs of the region. The University of Duhok is conveniently located on the outskirts of Duhok city, and is accessible within a two-hour drive from Erbil International Airport (EBL), the region’s major airport. From the airport, visitors can easily reach UOD by airport taxi, which provides a direct route to the university.
